Armin Scheben, Ph.D
Armin is a postdoc in the lab who is interested in developing and applying quantitative comparative genomics approaches to understand complex genomes. He is currently investigating convergent adaptation and the estimation of genome-wide fitness effects in the grass tribe Andropogoneae, which includes maize and sorghum. Armin completed his Ph.D. at the University of Western Australia, where he focused on trait association using genotyping data in populations of wheat and canola. Armin joined the Siepel lab in late 2019.
